Eric Maijala is an accomplished Vice President of Operations with over 20 years of leadership experience, specializing in the strategic management of business operations and driving continuous improvement across multiple functions.
At IFS, Eric plays a pivotal role in overseeing cross-departmental operations, from manufacturing to HR, while ensuring the company remains on track to achieve its goals. Known for his strong leadership and ability to tackle complex challenges, Eric works closely with the senior leadership team to guide the company toward profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term success.
In addition to his operational expertise, Eric is deeply involved in budgeting, strategic planning, and staff development, leveraging his analytical skills to manage costs, improve performance, and promote leadership within the organization. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of growth and mentorship, identifying and nurturing future leaders across departments. His hands-on approach to management and his attention to detail ensure IFS’s continued competitive edge in a fast-evolving industry.
Eric is also the Director of the Minnesota Trapper Association, where he applies his leadership skills to advocate for the trapping community and ensure that industry standards and regulations are upheld. Outside of his professional life, Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his wife.
